Wooden Saya Bunka [knife Sheath] – 190mm (7.5″)

Saya, a wooden knife sheath protects the knife and its user from damages and injuries. It also keeps the knife sharp and makes it easier to carry around. Its wooden safety pin, which prevents the knife from falling out. Saya is made of beech wood, a firm yet still soft enough wood, making it more durable and resistant than any leather sheath.

Handmade wooden Saya is made especially for our ZDP-189 Bunka knives (both Black and Silver editions), but it will also fit on Bunka blades from other manufacturers with the same (or smaller) dimensions of up to 190mm (7.5″) in length, 50mm (2.0″) in width, and with a thickness at the spine of up to 2mm (0.14″).

PS: We made the hole for the safety pin about the same size as the width of the regular wooden chopsticks (you know, those cheap ones you get with your takeaway). In case you lose the safety pin, you can easily shorten the wooden chopstick and use it as a replacement.
